Not Enough

Not Enough
By: Debra Sue Higginbotham

Three hours of sleep - is really NOT enough.
When a baby is teething - - it’s a little rough.

It isn’t enough, to cut just one or two!
No, he is determined - - to push SIX through.

24 hours – is just not enough in the day,
when you're potty training, the IMPOSSIBLE way.

7 days – is just not enough in the week,
when mom lacks sleep – and can hardly speak.

Two arms with two hands? Surely I need more.
When your son weighs a ton – such arms get sore.

One washer? One dryer? I think I may need ten.
Laundry is EVERYwhere! Even in the kitchen.

But as for Husbands, NO, I don’t need anymore.
For that would just mean more laundry on the floor.
